Sarah Kirby

sarah-kirby

Hi I’m Sarah Kirby. I’ve been qualified as a massage therapist since 2002 when I first studied Swedish, aromatherapy and Indian head massage at City College, Brighton. I’ve since trained in deep tissue massage and LaStone therapy (hot stone massage), which I now specialise in. Over the years I’ve found the combination of hot stones and deep tissue work to be most effective at relieving pain, stress and tension and increasing the level of relaxation found during a treatment. I work in an intuitive manner, detecting imbalances in the body and working them out in a deeply therapeutic treatment leaving you feeling physically aligned and mentally relaxed.
In 2010, after 3 years study with The College of Naturopathic Medicine, I qualified as a naturopath and nutritional therapist. Naturopathic nutrition is a complete system of natural healthcare that looks at healing the person as a whole being, looking at and getting to the root cause of the problem rather than just treating the symptoms independently. It emphasises the use of natural, whole and organic foods as medicine, along with lifestyle recommendations, dietary supplements and health tests where necessary.
Nutritional therapy can help manage any number of conditions including asthma, eczema, arthritis, digestive issues, stress and fatigue to name but a few, or you may just want advice on improving your eating habits. All of this can be addressed in a full consultation with at least one follow-up strongly recommended.
It is my aim as a therapist to aid you in realising your full wellness potential and I look forward to taking care of you soon.
