Which massage should I book?

By Jan Wolsey.

Its a question that my clients often ask me, I have regular treatment at least every couple of weeks so really it depends on what I am feeling in need of. If I’ve been hiking then its a good deep tissue with hot stones, I love the way the heat melts into my muscles and releases any tension it also works brilliantly on aching shoulders and low back pain. If I just need to take time out then I will probably have an Ayurvedic treatment and just enjoy drifting off into a relaxed state of being.

When giving treatments I like to draw from all my experiences of training so will often combine hot stones, ayurvedic work ( for balance), Myofascial work to ease out long term restrictions, Cranial work for stillness.

Creating a dialogue with your therapist is really important the more we understand about your needs the better we can tailor our treatments, thats why we ask all the questions!
