Covid 19 – Temporary Closure

Temporary Closure of Clinic – update April 2020

As I’m sure you aware, Natural Balance, like all similar businesses is temporarily closed. At this moment we are unable to confirm when we will re-open but hope, of course, it will be soon.

For now, we are cancelling all bookings made for April and will be in touch to rebook you once a date to reopen is confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I have a gift voucher that expires soon – can I extend it?

Yes, we’re happy to extend any gift voucher that has an expiry date after February 2020. Send us the gift voucher number below the barcode and we can do that now.

  • I bought a series of treatments – can I have longer to use them?

Yes, the series of treatments usually expire 3 months after it is first used (not the purchase date). Your therapist will be able to extend this next time you see them.

  • How will I know when you are open and taking bookings again?

To receive a ‘push notification’ to your phone when we have a date to reopen, download our app by searching for “Natural Balance Therapies” in the App Store (Apple). It will also be available in the Google Play store (for Android phones) any day now. Alternatively, follow us on FaceBook or check back to this page.

  • I really need some help now – what can I do?

If you need help with aches, pains, injuries, stress, anxiety, stretching, relaxing or getting to sleep, get in touch. We’ll be happy to advise on self-care and steps you can take, whilst we can’t see you in person.

We’re also adding blog articles and videos of self-care advice, to the website, each week. The first one is available now and covers foot pain. You can read it here.

Take care,

Mark and the Team

Temporary Closure of Clinic for 3 weeks – update March 17th, 2020

In light of the recent government advice, we are having to temporarily close the clinic, for three weeks, from 6 pm Saturday 21st March.

The closure is, however, immediate for the following:

  • Vulnerable customers (Health conditions, Over 70, Pregnant)
  • Anyone living in close proximity or visiting a Vulnerable person

If you are in one of the above groups, please get in touch before attending the clinic, as we may not be aware in advance.

This is an incredibly difficult decision to make, for both myself and the team of therapists, but seems like the right decision given the latest research on the spread of the virus.

We currently plan to reopen on Saturday 11th April subject to government advice.

Thank you for your support and please keep in touch. Over the next few days we will be cancelling and rebooking appointments – please bare with us.

Enhanced Cleaning and More – update March 12th, 2020

As a health-related business, we’ve always prioritised hygiene, and it’s true to say, no one washes their hands more than a massage therapist.

That said it’s not quite business as usual, and Natural Balance Therapies, like any responsible business, is taking steps to minimise risk to our customers and therapists.

In addition to our regular cleans, we’re also having a deep clean of the clinic starting this Sunday evening with everything cleaned and disinfected. The deep clean will be completed the following Sunday evening.

We use Hospital Grade antibac / antiviral wipes to clean surfaces in between clients. This was being done anyway and, we’re well-stocked to continue this.

We’re introducing disposable breathe hole covers in addition to couch roll for extra cleanliness.

We’re also asking clients not to come to the clinic if they feel unwell, with a cough, sore throat, high temperature or shortness of breath.

Or if they have been to a ‘high-risk country’ in the past 14 days, even if feeling healthy.

Call us, and we will postpone your appointment.

For more up to the minute advise visit the NHS website at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/

On arrival at Natural Balance Therapies please wash your hands with plenty of soap and water. Your therapist can let you know where to do this.

Hopefully, things will return to ‘normal’ soon, and we can all start stressing about Brexit again 😉
