Hi, thanks for reading! I have lived in Brighton for 23 years and set up Natural Balance Therapies in 2004 after studying Complementary Therapies, full time, for 2 years . I’m a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage (ISRM) and also a part time lecturer in Business Studies on the University of Brighton’s Foundation Degree in Complementary Healthcare.
I have been working with complementary therapies since 1999 and have a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and advanced therapeutic massage. I have travelled extensively both in the UK and overseas to learn the best techniques to help my patients restore a sense of health and vitality.
I have been practicing massage since 1993 after completing a certificate in therapeutic massage, and have since passed diplomas in aromatherapy, sports massage, nutrition advice and hot stone therapy. I also take part in one day courses regularly to improve my skills inc. MFR, pregnancy massage and on-site massage. I started my career at the Sanctuary in Covent Garden and went on to work at many of the top health spas and health clubs in the south.
James has been practising in the Brighton and Hove area since qualifying in 1998 from the European School of Osteopathy, one of the UK’s leading osteopathic colleges, and is registered with the GOsC (General Osteopathic Council.) This statutory body regulates the training and professional activities of all osteopaths in the UK.
I am an Advanced Clinical Massage Therapist working in Brighton and Hove. I have been studying and practicing massage since 2006 and am always looking to improve and develop my knowledge and skills. I have been trained in advanced techniques including myofascial release, trigger point therapy, soft tissue release and advanced sports stretching….
After completing a PhD in Psychology and working as a researcher for many years, I decided to leave the lab behind and retrain as a massage therapist. I trained at the London School of Sports Massage (LSSM) and qualified as a Clinical Sport and Remedial Massage Therapist in 2014.
Matt graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in London, with distinction, after leaving a long career in the travel industry behind. His experience of the effects of stress, commuting and a sedentary lifestyle means he can relate to a wide range of problems people may experience in their back, neck, shoulders and the rest of their body.
I am an Advanced Clinical and Sports Massage Therapist, Shiatsu Practitioner and a full member of the Sports Therapy Organisation. I began my studies back in 1993 with a diploma in Shiatsu and Traditional Oriental Medicine from the Shiatsu College. I worked in private practice and also in offices offering onsite massage for many years.
Hi there, I’m a graduate of the University of Brighton’s Foundation Degree in Complementary Healthcare and I am a registered therapist with the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT). I find my work incredibly rewarding and I am passionate about improving my clients physical function as well as helping them with stress and fatigue.
I am a dedicated and qualified holistic massage therapist with 10 years of professional experience. I initially qualified in 2007 with a level 3 Diploma in Holistic massage, before going on to further qualifying in pregnancy, hot stone, warm bamboo, lymphatic drainage, chair/seated acupressure, on site massage and Indian head.
I decided to retrain as a massage therapist in 2002. Having had a personal interest in holistic therapies, healthy living and falling in love with massage after receiving my first one, it seemed like a natural progression. Over the years I have trained in many different disciplines including advanced clinical massage, deep tissue massage, LaStone therapy (hot & cold stone massage), nutrition and naturopathy.
