Our Covid Measures.

Current Guidance (updated March 2022)

The government has now removed legal restrictions and issued guidance instead, to help protect those people most vulnerable to COVID-19 and maintain resilience going forward. Below are their guidelines that relate to ‘close contact’ businesses like Natural Balance.

The guidelines state that as a close-contact service we should consider:

  • Operating an appointment-only system, to know exactly who is coming in and out of your practice, and to encourage clients to stick to this to avoid more people in the waiting room
  • Ask COVID-19 related screening questions such as if they have symptoms or should be self-isolating
  • Inform clients of personal guidance about visiting the premises before and on arrival, including information on websites, booking forms and entranceways.
  • Keep up-to-date with signage and visual aids – including posters and information – in the entrance, toilet and waiting room of your practice.
  • Make hand-sanitiser available on entry and in the waiting room
  • Ventilate the room we work in, for example by opening doors and windows
  • Make sure we clean and disinfect or sterilize non-disposable items between clients
  • Face coverings are no longer required by law. However, the government suggests that people continue to wear face coverings in ‘close contact’ settings, if able to do so.

The Guidance above applies to all ‘close contact’ treatments, however, these and more stringent measures remain in place for Osteopathy which is a regulated health profession.
